I’ve been photographing professionally since 2000.
In 2005 my wife and I were married. Today we live in Sheboygan with our 3 kids.
I love being outdoors, and spending time with my family. In my younger days I spent many weekends camping with my Boy Scout troop, also taking a few week long high adventure trips. We backpacked for a week on Isle Royale national park, bicycled across the state of Wisconsin, and also across the state of Michigan and back.
We do camp as a family now as well. The camping is a little different now then it was as a Boy Scout, but having 3 children really changes things.
I also love to travel. This is something that I haven’t done enough of, and I plan on doing a lot more of it in the future.
One place that is close to home that I enjoy going it Chicago. I wouldn’t want to live there, but I do like to visit. Two of my favorite things to do there, is to take the architectural tour on the river, and go on the Sears tower. (Yes I do know that it is officially the Willis tower now, but to me it will always be the Sears tower) I love seeing all of the architecture and the history of the city.
In 2005 when we got married, I made the biggest mistake that I’ve always tried to warn my clients about. I did not hire a Professional Photographer. I still regret it to this day. So take a few minutes and read it here.
In 1999 Jacks Photography was born. I opened my residential studio in 2005, and in 2022 I moved to my current studio space inside of Leonhard Plaza.
